BUST / CHEST MEASUREMENT:

  • Women: The BUST MEASUREMENT refers to the fullest part of the bust. It should be measured just under the arms and around the fullest part of the bust.
  • Men: The CHEST MEASUREMENT refers to the upper body. This measurement is taken just below the arms, as pictured.

WAIST MEASUREMENT: The WAIST MEASUREMENT should be taken at the narrowest part of the waist. Sometimes people think their waist is lower because they wear their pants lower on their waist. This is not your waist. We call this the PREFERRED WAIST MEASUREMENT. The natural waist, where you need to measure, is the narrowest part of the waist.

HIP MEASUREMENT: The HIP MEASUREMENT should be taken at the fullest part of the hips. If you straighten your back and lean forward, notice where you bend. That is where you put the measuring tape to measure the fullest part of your hips.

INSEAM MEASUREMENT (For Custom Length Orders): To measure the inseam for custom length orders, start by standing straight with your legs slightly apart. Take a measuring tape and measure from the crotch seam (where the legs of your trousers meet) down to the desired length at your ankle or foot, depending on where you prefer your pants to end. Ensure the tape is straight and parallel to your leg for an accurate measurement. This measurement is crucial for custom hemming to achieve the perfect length for your pants.
